We’re looking for an experienced Transport and Logistics Manager to lead our logistics function across the UK & Ireland based at our Cannock site. This role is focused on delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective transport operations while driving team development and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:
- Lead the Transport and Logistics Planning team, setting clear objectives and ensuring daily operational coverage.
- Oversee scheduling for HGVs, drivers, and equipment to deliver cost-effective plans and high service standards.
- Manage and maintain the HGV fleet, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes, systems, and performance tracking.
- Build strong supplier relationships, manage onboarding, and ensure service levels meet business needs.
- Monitor KPIs and implement initiatives to improve delivery performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve escalations and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Embed wellbeing, inclusion, and development into team culture through coaching and succession planning.
You’ll bring:
- Valid International Transport Manager CPC qualification.
- Proven experience managing HGV fleets and transport operations.
- Strong knowledge of transport compliance and regulations.
- Leadership experience managing diverse teams, including drivers and planners.
- Commercial acumen with a track record of improving profitability through logistics solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, planning tools, and data analysis.
