Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Field Service Engineer based in Swindon. Youâll deliver planned maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure safe, reliable operation of our power generation assets while supporting customers onsite.

What youâll do as Field Service Technician:
- Perform major mechanical overhauls and electrical system servicing in line with service intervals, SOPs and work instructions.
- Carry out intermediate mechanical and electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault resolution.
- Deliver minor repairs and major overhauls on time, to quality standards and within budget.
- Conduct safety inspections and comply with all Aggreko safety procedures.
- Provide firstâlevel technical support to customers and assist, train and mentor service crew members.
- Complete intermediate installation & commissioning, including commissioning of multiple canopy generators or single containerised generators onto LV/HV distribution.
You are:
- Experienced in servicing, mechanical/electrical maintenance, or operations roles - comfortable working independently and solving problems onsite.
- Skilled across both mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose issues at an intermediate level.
- Safetyâconscious, reliable, and knowledgeable about maintenance procedures, tools, and operational standards.
- Able to provide clear technical advice to customers and support less experienced team members.
- Holding or working towards an appropriate letter of electrical authorisation; vocational/technical education advantageous.
