The purpose of the role: We are currently looking for a Senior Product Line Manager (BESS/Energy Storage) to be based out of our Lomondgate site in Dumbarton. The Senior Product Line Manager for Energy Storage is a newly created role and will be responsible for managing the energy storage product portfolio for Aggreko’s global rentals and projects business. Your leadership will help us shape and execute our growth strategy for energy storage within Aggreko’s energy solutions offerings. Together with your central team of product managers and product engineering managers, you will collaborate with the sales and operations teams across the business regions to optimize the commercial utilization and operational performance of the existing portfolio of mobile and stationary battery products, as well as its future evolution. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop a team of Product Managers – BESS / Rental and BESS / Project and Product Engineering Managers Engage with key stakeholders across the business to build sponsorship for new product introductions and to maintain a detailed understanding of Aggreko’s business requirements; work closely with commercial and operations functions to optimize storage KPIs Understand key industry trends and market drivers for Energy Storage and translate into action for Aggreko through product roadmaps, continuous improvements, etc. Ensure the development of clear business cases, including gathering market intelligence to generate user requirements, for fleet optimization and new product development, align with adjacent thermal power product management Establish and maintain the appropriate level of supplier relationships together with the procurement team Ensure the introduction of products from a commercial, sales & marketing and operations perspective Prepare and drive decisions along our products’ lifecycles including their retirement What we’re looking for: B.Sc. in engineering or a business-related degree or a marketing-related degree Excellent leadership experience (with or without direct reports), preferably in the energy industry and preferably with a good balance of commercial and technical roles Specialist knowledge of energy storage systems, renewables, and hybrid systems Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills – communicates clearly and effectively, being able to manage and influence a complex network of stakeholders at different levels (internal and external) Strong cultural awareness – understands and respects the cultural differences across countries and regions, adapting accordingly Growth mindset (business and personal) – always looking for growth opportunities within the business and yourself Why join Aggreko?
