We have an exciting new opportunity for a confident and highly motivated General Operative based out of our concrete block plant in Barton. As an Operative you will be expected to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to maximise production. To inspect, carry out and ensure that plant routines are regularly adhered to and that the cleanliness of the equipment’s, production area, adjacent buildings and storage areas are at all times properly and regularly inspected, cleaned and maintained in accordance with site instructions. You will operate as a member of a multi-skilled production team producing concrete products. The factory operates on a 24/5 rotating three shift pattern with possible overtime as and when required.
