The Opportunity. We now have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Engineering team onsite at our Concrete Products Factory in Chryston, Glasgow. You will help to maintain equipment that manufactures infrastructure such as Kerbs & Slabs – that you will no doubt have seen lined the streets and in commercial environments up and down the UK. With the support of senior engineers and the wider engineering function onsite, you will develop your skills to become an integral part of the team. You will initially shadow and then develop your experience to attend reactive and planned maintenance tasks which help keep our site operational. Covering Monday-Friday days 06:30-15:00. Weekends if and when required.

Who you are. You will have experience working as a Mechanical Fitter or as a Hydraulics Specialist such as a mobile hose doctor. You will be a qualified engineer through either an apprenticeship or an externally sourced Level 2 Mechanical qualification.
