The Opportunity Due to growth and internal promotions within our Aggregates team we now have an excellent opportunity for a new Quarry Manager to join the team at our Kempsford Quarry, near Swindon. At this Sand & Gravel Quarry we operate Monday-Friday days, where youll join an established operational team of eight. Youll lead the team in the safe and efficient extraction of 200,000 tonnes per annum of material. Keys aspects of the role include: Youll act as the Statutory 8.1(c) on site Lead a safe and sustainable work environment You will help maintain the financial performance of the site in line with budget requirements ensuring processes are implemented to report all information required for accounting purposes Implement and ensure compliance of the companys health and safety rules, Quality assurance and environmental policies Work strategically to ensure quarry operations are carried out in accordance with the quarry design plan Who you are Youll understand Quarry Regulations, Statutory Health & Safety and Employment legislation Youll be a strong communicator with the ability to build effective working relations with others – internal and external stakeholders Youll take pride in your organisation with demonstrable planning and delivery ability Youll be financially astute, with previous exposure to budgets and holding financial responsibility Benefits ??
