AGFA HealthCare is looking for a talented Clinical Deployment Specialist (CDS) PACS / RIS to join the Northern Europe Application Team to focus primarily on project delivery. The CDS role involves implementing upgrade and new projects, working in a team of various technical and project management specialists. It will include conducting workflow and integration analyses, configuration of the PACS, RIS and Speech solutions, delivering training as well as go-live support. As part of the Application Team there are Clinical Support Specialists (CSS) who support customers, following the delivery of projects, throughout the duration of their contract. There may be a requirement to take on some elements of this, dependent upon workload/business need.
This position is field based throughout the Northern Europe region of: UK, Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden and Estonia with the base being home. There are offices located in Leeds UK, Belgium and The Netherlands although there is no requirement for regular attendance.
Region wide travel is required (for example: in a 6-month project, we would expect you to be onside for 10 weeks in total – dispersed throughout the project) with some weekend work required particularly for go-lives. Site visits can be required on an ad hoc basis. However, expect to be mainly working from home.

• Contribute within a wider team of technical and project management specialists to deliver projects
• Spend time on customer sites to, for example, conducting workflow analyses and training to a variety of end users
• Configuration of software solutions both on and off-site
• Excellent documentation and process engagement
• Application support post project
Skills:
• Expertise in PACS/RIS radiology IT workflow
• Excellent knowledge of workflow within a radiology environment
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards and interactions
• Relevant IT skills are desired
• Strong ability to develop and deliver training in a variety of in person and online settings
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Self-disciplined to work with limited supervision as well as confident in lone working
• Strong team working and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving qualities
• Superior customer advocacy/satisfaction skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education:
• Registered Diagnostic Radiographer is highly desirable and preferable, although other clinical qualifications will be considered such as Nursing or Clinical Physiologist etc.
Experience:
• Experience as a PACS/RIS Administrator or super/key user beneficial
• Minimum three years\’ hospital experience including delivering training
• Experience with AGFA software a plus
Additional Requirements:
• Technical aptitude combined with a solid clinical hospital background
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Able to self-direct
• Highly proficient in English is required both written and oral
