This is a great opportunity for a result‑oriented HR professional used to operating in an international team. This position is a 6-month contract. In this role you will be delivering onsite HR Services to employees in our Agfa operating in the UK. You will be supporting managers and employees, acting as the first point of contact for everything HR related.

Location: Onsite required. 6‑month Contract

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the first point of contact for everyday non‑admin HR queries (e.g. annual leave, probation, policy clarifications, underperformance support, etc).
  • Support smooth onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with the wider Agfa team.
  • Advise managers and employees, offering guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and facilitate conflict resolution, aiming to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Take lead in managing absenteeism, supporting managers and employees in implementing policies.
  • Update policies and procedures in line with local legislation and Agfa’s global rules.
  • Partner with managers to establish performance management processes, including goal setting, regular check‑ins, and performance reviews.
  • Manage the People Experience Team (outsourced HR administration) who are the first point of contact for everyday HR admin queries.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace by partnering with leadership to develop initiatives that foster a culture of belonging and respect.

Who You Are:

  • Good understanding of employment law.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently with Excel reporting (pivots, vlookups).
  • Experience in defining and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience in supporting management of absenteeism.
