As an X-Ray Field Service Engineer, you deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Agfa Radiology’s state‑of‑the‑art imaging products. You will be travelling to customer sites and you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment, to ensure the proper functioning and optimal performance of our products. You act as a liaison between Agfa Radiology Solutions and our customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely resolution of technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Work in cooperation with Agfa’s Shared Service Centre to carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of products.
- Maintain all test equipment, tools and company property in good and working order and process spare parts in accordance with policy.
- Expand your knowledge and that of colleagues and customers, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
- Build relationships and maintain team working with all internal and external partners.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and company’s policies and work procedures.
- Identify and elevate situations impacting customer satisfaction and/or contractual obligations.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the organisation to ensure achievement of goals.
Experience and Qualifications
- You have an HNC/D degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science or engineering; alternatively qualified by extensive experience.
- Ideally you will have previous field service experience where you have undertaken similar type of work.
- You will have strong IT, Microsoft Office and Networking Infrastructure skills.
- You hold a full UK driving license.
