The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

You lead the marketing function for Region North (UK/Ireland, Nordics, Benelux and France), aligning with the global marketing plan, the company's integrated marketing framework, and key marketing guidelines—including brandbook—to support regional business objectives. As the Marketing and Communication Manager for Region North, you are responsible for developing the regional marketing plan and executing targeted strategies that promote AGFA HealthCare, its products, and services across Northern Europe. This role reports functionally to the Marketing & Communication Manager International.

Location: England-based (Leeds office, hybrid, or remote). Travel: 2 times per month, including attendance at trade shows, symposia, user groups, customer meetings, and team meetings (both global and regional).

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Manager International, regional leadership, and sales teams to develop and execute the regional marketing strategy in alignment with the global marketing plan.
  • Drive brand positioning, customer engagement, demand generation, and sales enablement across Region North.
  • Campaign & Content Strategy: Develop and implement regional marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with global messaging. Manage the campaign calendar, including demand generation, sales enablement, supplier partnerships, and budgeting.
  • Customer Engagement & Reputation Building: Oversee PR efforts, collaborate with local agencies, and expand social media presence by engaging with industry trends, government initiatives, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Sales Enablement & Demand Generation: Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, create tailored marketing materials for account-based strategies, and support sales teams in prospect engagement and commercial initiatives.
  • Event & Client Advocacy Management: Organize and execute regional events, foster client engagement through case studies, testimonials, and thought-leadership programs, and strengthen Agfa HealthCare’s industry presence.
  • Strategic Alignment & Performance Optimization: Track marketing effectiveness, provide data-driven insights, and collaborate with global, regional, and local teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Strengthen alignment between global and regional marketing, sales, and client services, fostering long-term customer loyalty and advocacy.

This role is instrumental in enhancing AGFA HealthCare’s brand, customer relationships, and commercial success across Northern Europe.

Experience

  • Healthcare IT experience, ideally within the software arena.
  • At least five years of hands-on experience in reputation and demand generation marketing coordination/project management experience.

Education

  • Marketing Diploma or Degree.

  • Marketing and Technical Knowledge: Experience with WordPress, SugarCRM, Adobe CRM, and familiarity with marketing automation tools (Act-On, MailChimp, or similar), as well as basic layout and web development.
  • Social Media Execution: Hands-on experience in planning and executing social media campaigns to drive engagement and brand visibility.
  • Strong Language Skills: Native or excellent English grammar and writing abilities; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Skilled in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools for reporting and presentations.
  • Agency & Vendor Management: Experience collaborating with external agencies and managing vendor relationships is a plus.
  • Event Support & Logistics: Comfortable with hands-on event setup, including assembling physical assets, minor transportation, and booth preparation during campaigns.
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Ability to evaluate digital performance, campaign impact, and budget data, ensuring accuracy and optimization.
