As an X-Ray Field Service Engineer, you deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Agfa Radiology's state-of-the-art imaging products. You will be travelling to customer sites and you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment, to ensure the proper functioning and optimal performance of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Work in cooperation with Agfa's Shared Service Centre to carry out service, maintenance, updates, and installation of products.
- Maintain all test equipment, tools, and company property in good and working order and process spare parts in accordance with policy.
- Expand your knowledge and that of colleagues and customers, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
- Build relationships and maintain team working with all internal and external partners.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and company's policies and work procedures.
- Identify and escalate situations impacting customer satisfaction and/or contractual obligations.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the organisation to ensure achievement of goals.
Experience and Qualifications:
- You have an HNC/D degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science, or engineering; alternatively qualified by extensive experience.
- Ideally, you will have previous field service experience where you have undertaken similar type of work.
- You will have strong IT, Microsoft Office, and Networking Infrastructure skills.
- You hold a full UK driving license.
