You will have spent 2 or 3 years since you graduated, developing as a solid generalist graphic designer. You’re ready for a step up. The agency works with a lot of content and messaging and they will value you as someone who can suggest different ways to tell a story.
Typical work for the agency includes:
- Business communications: reports, websites, campaigns, identities
- Brand communications that include a growing amount of motion graphics work
The agency is currently opening their clients' eyes to the possibilities of telling stories in more fragmented and interesting ways that get attention from different audiences who look at messages in different places. It’s an exciting time.
You’ll have:
- A folio that shows a variety of beautiful graphic design work that includes layout, some editorial, identity or campaign/brand communications
- Any moving image experience, however limited, would be fantastic
- A good understanding of layout, grids and typography
- An interest in how you can practically animate your ideas and bring movement to your conceptual thinking
- Some understanding of After Effects (2D/3D) and a desire to develop in this area
You will be fully supported by the Creative Director and other seniors to do this. Your new ideas will be embraced.
The chance to work with and learn from a small team of super experienced typographers and craft-focused designers, as well as really strategic thinkers in the broader team.
Requirements:
- 4+ years design experience
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS, After Effects and Figma ideally
You’ll be:
