The speed read
A rare chance to work brand side and agency side at the same time.
Confused? You won’t be.
The facts
Say goodbye to mis‑briefings and deepen relationships all the way round.
You will work on one brand that the agency looks after and has a deep relationship with. You will spend 2 days a week with the client and the rest with the agency. On the client side, you will build a strong relationship with senior leadership and sales and tech teams. You like to consult on exactly what is needed, whether that’s magnifying the brand’s presence at an industry event, planning and briefing the materials needed for a product launch, managing the brand’s b2b social channels or the website, prepping decks and case studies to tell the best stories. You will also run campaigns, either for internal audiences or for product launches.
The brand is AI related with a suite of products and services in development. So it’s an exciting time to join and make an impact in a big growth area. An interest in this area will stand you in good stead, but AI or tech knowledge is not essential. It’s more important that you are a solid marketeer who can formulate a brief, guide creative teams and control the process, remaining super clear on what is needed. You can balance creative thinking with commercial reality and practical needs.
This isn’t a technical marketing role, it’s for a really strong generalist that loves amplifying a brand across lots of channels.
You’ll have:
- 5-10 years marketing experience.
- Solid experience briefing creative teams and managing that output.
- Evidence of strong stakeholder management skills
- Interesting marketing stories to tell
- The experience to deal with legal and compliance teams
- Experience in creating and running content plans
You’ll be:
- A really clear communicator and a good writer
- Someone that can move seamlessly between agency and brand side with ease, taking and keeping people with you.
- Someone who likes bringing people together to move the brand forward.
- Lots of ‘agency’ and momentum. The brand is at a relatively early stage, so you need to bring an entrepreneurial spirit.
