Position

Are you a commercially driven Business Development professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? We're looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Retail & Commercial Estates sector, securing high-value new business opportunities and helping clients deliver smarter estate and parking management solutions. This is a strategic, consultative sales role where you'll engage with senior decision-makers, build long-term partnerships and develop tailored solutions that create value for our clients. You'll be responsible for generating new business, managing a strong pipeline of opportunities and contributing to the continued growth of Agena.

What you will be doing

  • Winning new business across the Retail & Commercial Estates sector.
  • Building and managing a pipeline of high-value opportunities.
  • Developing relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Delivering consultative sales presentations, proposals and business cases.
  • Leading negotiations and securing new contracts.
  • Representing Agena Group at client meetings, industry events and conferences.
  • Identifying market trends, growth opportunities and new routes to market.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Who You Are

  • An experienced B2B Business Development professional with a strong track record of winning new business.
  • A confident relationship builder who can engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Results-driven, with experience achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Commercially astute, proactive and motivated by business growth.
  • Organised and self-motivated, with excellent planning, forecasting and pipeline management skills.
  • Experience within parking management, ANPR, facilities management, property technology or the Retail & Commercial Estates sector would be advantageous.
  • Able to travel regularly to client meetings and events. A full UK driving licence is required.

Other Information About The Role

Salary: Salary to be discussed at interview plus bonus scheme

Hours: 40 per week; Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm

Location: Lancing or Newton Abbot with hybrid working flexibilities

  • Our selection process is as follows: Application - Competency Based Interview with Manager - 2nd interview and presentation with Senior Management
  • You must be able to legally live and work in the UK without sponsorship
  • The postholder may be required to travel to external meetings on occasion by the most effective means available
  • This role is subject to the approval of our motor insurance provider, and continued employment is dependent on maintaining eligibility to drive under the company's insurance policy
