Position Field Services Engineer – works outside client locations to install signage and prepare sites for ANPR and CCTV installations. This is a manual, physical job requiring digging holes, cabling, erecting poles, working at height and in all weather. The candidate moves autonomously to at least three sites per shift. The company supplies a van and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Install all appropriate signage at sites.
  • Resolve camera issues for reactive jobs.
  • Deliver personable and quality service to clients.
  • Follow safe working procedures and operating procedures.
  • Follow all compliance procedures.
  • Enter accurate and detailed reports into the scheduling system.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather, digging and climbing poles.
  • Desirable background in building, construction or civil engineering.
  • Experience working manually at height.
  • Flexible working approach due to travel requirement.
  • Full UK manual driving licence with less than 6 points (and aged 25 +).
  • Based in Portsmouth or Southampton area of the south coast.
  • Legally able to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Employment continues only with eligibility to drive under company insurance policy.

Location & Hours

Field based role covering Portsmouth, Southampton and the south coast area. 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Working hours 08:00‑16:30.
