Position

We are looking for a Bid Manager/Writer who wants to work for a market leading organisation, producing winning bids across a diverse range of sectors within the parking industry from the NHS and Higher Education, Local Government to Retail, Leisure and Commercial, offering bespoke products and solutions to our clients. This means co-ordinating and producing high-quality, compliant responses to tenders. The role will work with our Business Development, Commercial, Operations and Technology teams to create winning bid responses.

Working with Agena, you will learn about the various business units, build industry knowledge and develop a set of strong company skills across all departments. We are looking for an individual with drive, someone who wants a challenge, takes initiative and isn’t afraid of pushing boundaries.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Lead the bid strategy
  • Ensure all tenders meet internal milestones and submission deadlines
  • Liaising with the Head of Bid Management providing regular reports and feedback on the bid performance
  • To lead in the preparation, review and submission of each tender with the Bid Team
  • Planning, organising, and delivering high-quality bids that meet the client\’s requirements and expectations
  • Researching, writing, editing, and proofreading bid content, and ensuring that it is clear, concise, and relevant
  • Produce persuasive and compelling bid documents that meet the client\’s requirements and expectations
  • Working alongside/challenging the sales team for win themes and strategies
  • To establish the bid evaluation programme and chair progress review meetings with key stakeholders across the business
  • To monitor activity in the market to ensure we maximise our tender potential
  • To increase value through an understanding of customer drivers and targeting suitable proposals
  • To identify and employ innovative solutions to add value to each individual bid
  • To secure and communicate balanced feedback to improve future bids including, following up with the clients and conducting post-bid activities, such as debriefing, feedback, and lessons learned

Salary: £65,000 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

Location: Any of our office locations: Lancing/Newton Abbot/Stafford/Slough available as a hybrid working pattern
