Agemo is a team of AI researchers, product experts, and serial hackathon winners who care deeply about building a new category for automation. We’re pioneering a future where automation is accessible to everyone. We launched CodeWords, an all-in-one platform where you create automations simply by chatting with AI.

About Agemo: Agemo is a research and product company defining the frontier of workflow automation. We started our journey by working on AI reasoning in 2024 to understand how to engineer an AI system able to generate and orchestrate backend systems. That research led to building solutions for the ARC-AGI benchmark alongside François Chollet (inventor of Keras) and Mike Knoop (co-founder of Zapier), and we were featured in the ARC Prize report.

While creating frontend UIs by chatting is becoming ubiquitous, there still aren’t solutions to create automations for non-technical people. Instead, these users are either stuck with visual no-code builders or left to perform the same tasks manually. Our aim is to fundamentally change how automations are created, deployed, and scaled: from ideation to automation, in minutes. What would require technical teams and automation experts can now be accomplished by individuals for their small business or business function.

In September 2025, we launched CodeWords, an all-in-one platform for non-technical people to create automations by chatting with AI. Our mission is to democratise automation for everyone so that people can eliminate busywork, 10x their output, bring clarity to chaos, and focus on what matters. CodeWords does this by being AI and chat-native. The barrier to entry is lowered, while the ceiling of what can be built rises.

We’re redefining the workflow automation category, and we believe the next evolution will empower anyone to build automations and improve with more usage. We’re just getting started. If you want to build the future, make an impact, and do your best work, we would love to hear from you.

About the role: As a full stack engineer with an emphasis on front-end, you get excited by listening to user needs and building novel delightful experiences with AI. You have experience working in a fast-paced environment that is highly collaborative and cross-functional, and are eager to grow as an individual contributor by working on a category-defining product for workflow automation. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and design: owning features from concept to production.

Core responsibilities:

  • Own the development of new user-facing features end-to-end, from user insight to production. Examples of work include improving the chat experience, building new tools for our AI agent to use.
  • Participate in user interviews to understand pain points and turn qualitative insights into ready to ship features.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering and design to build an experience that brings users value and joy.

Requirements: You might be a good fit if you:

  • Love building with AI, and are a creative, practical thinker who thrives in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
  • Aren’t scared to roll up your sleeves, and can move with competing deadlines and loosely defined priorities.
  • Are a self-starter and work autonomously from day one, prioritising impact and learning.
  • Think user-first and are able to empathise with their problems.
  • Know when to be pragmatic and when to sweat the details.

We do not require a specific university degree or years of experience. What we care about and are excited by is what you’ve built. For this role, your profile loosely looks like:

  • 2-5 years engineering experience at tech and product-first companies.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js (NextJS, React Motion, Tailwind and Radix is a strong plus).
  • Comfortable with working across the stack, while being front end leaning.
  • You have experience working in a startup or are drawn to the zero-to-one phase with people who are kind and ambitious.
  • You have a strong interest in AI/ML and agentic systems.

Where we work: We work in a hybrid model where we meet in the office a few days a week on a flexible basis. We are currently hiring people who can physically be in London or San Francisco, but can make exceptions for certain roles.

How we work: Beyond the collaborative, open and transparent culture we strive to foster, there are a few things we strongly value:

  • Users as the compass, tech as the engine: We don’t build for demos. We build for real people. Technology is our engine, and user need is our compass. We succeed when our tech disappears behind outcomes that feel obvious, delightful, and useful.
  • Big vision, small steps: We chase bold outcomes by starting with lean, testable solutions. Starting small is not a compromise. It’s a superpower that helps us learn fast and invest wisely.
  • Action-biased, outcome-driven: We believe that velocity matters and that action creates clarity. Momentum is our competitive advantage, but movement alone isn’t enough. What matters is the end results. We act fast and with purpose.
  • Low ego, high curiosity: We believe that the best ideas win, not the loudest voices. We approach problems with humility, ask better questions, and stay open to being wrong. This mindset drives learning, strengthens collaboration, and leads to better outcomes for our users.

What we offer: Work on hard problems in an innovative culture: You’ll be part of a generational opportunity to define the impact of AI on society, alongside a team of missionaries. Competitive base salary and meaningful equity. We want to make sure you have skin in the game. Learning and development: Agemo proactively supports professional development through an annual discretionary stipend on conferences, workshops and events. 25 days of holidays + national bank holidays. Equipment of your choice. We also have our own (physical) GPUs to run experiments. Monthly team events, quarterly hackathons, conferences... We are builders and hackers at heart. We want to create the environment and culture for passionate and ambitious people to learn, share and connect.

How to Apply: Send an email to aymeric@agemo.ai with your CV, LinkedIn URL, Github repo or portfolio (if applicable), and answers to the following questions (in as few/as many words as you like):

  • How did you hear about this opportunity? Social media, referral, job board…
  • What makes you excited about Agemo’s mission?
  • Describe an achievement you are proud of. What did you do, what was the outcome? This could be academic, professional or personal.
  • (optional) Anything else you want us to know, such as your motivation to apply or additional context for your application.

Interview Process: Interviews will be focused on your area of expertise but also designed to see how you stretch beyond your comfort zone. We also evaluate for communication and collaboration skills, as well as your decision making process. The process below is indicative and subject to adjustments. We aim to get back to you with next steps within 72 hours after each round:

  • Introductory call (45mins) with one of the co-founders.
  • Technical call (45-60mins) with one member of the engineering team.
  • Assessment call (45-60mins) with one member of the product or marketing team.
  • Skills-based assessment. An end-to-end task which will be a reflection of what you’d work on at Agemo.
  • On-site interviews. Presentation and meetings with the whole team onsite.
  • Decision. You should expect to hear from us within a few days after the final interview with an offer or clear feedback!
