About the role
We’re seeking a Growth Marketer, specialised in social media and community to develop video assets that help build our social presence, while showing non-technical founders and business owners how to use CodeWords to streamline their work and build their own SaaS businesses. You have a blank slate so you’ll need to be excited about testing and iterating on content formats to see what works!
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to create content for a category-defining and growing brand, whilst having full autonomy to do so.
What you’ll do
- End-to-end content creation: Concept, script, film, edit, and publish short-form video content primarily across TikTok and Instagram.
- Product & use-case storytelling: Show how easy it is to start using CodeWords and highlight real business automation use cases in a clear, engaging way.
- On-camera brand presence: Serve as a recurring on-screen face of the CodeWords brand.
- Multi-platform strategy: Adapt formats, tone, and pacing across channels to maximise reach and engagement.
- Brand building: Help grow and humanise the CodeWords brand with clarity, personality, and humour.
What you’ll focus on
- Platform-specific growth channels: own the strategy and execution of one or multiple growth channels.
- Short-form video content: quick-start guides, use case tutorials, well-timed reactive or trendy content that’s still relevant to the CodeWords brand.
- Long-form video content - this will be a focus in the long-term.
- Tutorial content and step-by-step guides.
Must-have
- Strong storytelling instincts: hooks, pacing, clarity.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Solid video production and editing skills.
- Clear, concise writing and communication.
- Experience working in or with startups.
Nice-to-have / bonus
- Familiarity with no-code tools, AI coding tools, APIs, or workflow automation (or a strong desire to ramp up fast).
- Experience with B2C, SaaS, or AI products.
- Experience building repeatable content series.

Where we work
We work in a hybrid model where we meet in the office a few days a week on a flexible basis. We are currently hiring people who can physically be in London or San Francisco, but can make exceptions for certain roles.
