Club Conduct Assistant / Assistant Duty Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious private members’ club in West London for the position of Club Conduct Assistant / Assistant Duty Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly professional and experienced individual with a strong background in hospitality and operational management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the club, ensuring a refined, welcoming, and secure environment for members and staff. This hands-on position also includes regular Duty Manager responsibilities and plays a key role in maintaining the club’s renowned standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with and oversee daily operations to ensure consistently high levels of service.
  • Support and guide team members to deliver an exceptional member experience.
  • Enforce club rules and procedures, ensuring safety, security, and compliance.
  • Address member and staff concerns with discretion and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with senior management to uphold and enhance operational standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Experience: Extensive background in hospitality, ideally within a private members’ club or similarly high-end environment.
  • Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of security protocols and effective implementation of rules and procedures.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead by example, support staff, and maintain a calm, authoritative presence.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Professionalism: Well-presented, composed under pressure, and confident in dealing with senior members and guests.
