Responsibilities
- Personal care, group and individual social support
- Shopping for participants
- Respite
- Transporting participants to and from appointments
- Domestic Assistance and meal preparation
- Have experience working with people with disabilities or the elderly
- Have the ability to work independently and within teams
- Respect the rights and dignity of participants
- Certificate 3 in Disabilities or Aged Care
- Disability Worker Screening Clearance / Positive Notice Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Current police check (or willingness to get one)
- First aid/CPR certificate
- Drivers\’ license with own registered, fully insured vehicle
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to resolve minor task-related problems, teamwork, adaptability and commitment to learning and development
We offer
Support Workers with flexible working arrangements within the following periods:
- 7:00 am to 3:00 pm: Monday to Friday
We pay travel time and kilometres for all travel in between services.
