About the role

Life Purpose Australia is seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Warwick WA 6024. This is a casual role, providing tailored support to individuals with disabilities or in need of aged care assistance. You will play a vital part in helping our clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

What you\’ll be doing

Providing personalised support and assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Accompanying clients to appointments, social outings, or community events

Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients by monitoring their wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns

Assisting with the implementation of client care plans and supporting progress towards individual goals

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client support

Collaborating with the wider care team to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to client support

What we\’re looking for

Previous experience in a support worker, personal care, or aged care role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients

Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others

A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and task management

Relevant qualifications or certifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability Support, or Aged Care (essential)

Valid driver\’s licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance for client transport

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Working with Children Check

Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
