Programmed Care is expanding on our years of experience in delivering community services and currently requires Personal support staff to provide care, support, and home services to our veteran and aged clients throughout the Gold Coast Region. You will be required to assist with personal care, light domestic duties and shopping on behalf of the client. These are day services and you will be visiting multiple clients in different locations within their own homes. You are paid for the entirety of your shift, as well as a KM allowance for the time you travel between clients. Shifts are set, Monday to Friday, between 0700 and 1630 depending on your availability.
The following is essential in order to progress your application:
- Current Cert III Aged care, Individual Care, Disability or Community Care
- 2 references from paid employment
- Experience in an aged care facility, in home support, community role
- Your own reliable vehicle
- Vehicle Registration
- Current driver's licence, car registration and comprehensive insurance
- National Police Clearance Check completed within last 12 months
- Passport and/or birth certificate (proof of Australian Working Rights)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Manual Handling Certificate (if older than 12 months, refresher is needed)
- Current Blue Card
- Evidence of current Flu Vaccination
- Evidence of Covid Vaccination
