Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding career where you can truly make a difference? As a Home Care Worker with UPA, you'll provide essential support to elderly clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
You’ll assist clients across Liverpool with a variety of daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. Your caring heart and helping hands will enable our clients to live comfortably and safely in their own homes.
We have multiple positions available on a part-time basis, offering 20 hours per week, perfect for maintaining work-life balance.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assisting in the provision of individualised care using a consumer-directed approach
- Helping clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans, including personal care, domestic assistance, and social support
- Ensuring privacy, confidentiality, and dignity for all clients
- Responding to emergency situations using first aid
- Maintaining accurate records of client care
- Reporting any incidents or hazards
What you bring:
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Current Australian Driver's License and willing to travel
- Registered and insured vehicle
- Compassion, empathy, and a passion for helping others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence in using technology
