About the Role: Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing are at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do. We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship.
- Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse).
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
- Work with a supportive and dynamic team.
- Ongoing training.
Skills & Experience:
- Passionate about making a difference.
- A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their own behaviour & success.
- Coachable.
- Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
- Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset!
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
- Reliable way to get to and from the client's homes. Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience.
- National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector).
- Working With Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion.
- NDIS Worker Screener Clearance.
