The role
Hardi Guildford is looking for an AINs with experience caring for an elderly person and good communication skills. A candidate with writing skills and computer skills. You will assist with delivering best practice clinical care and support that enhances the health and wellbeing of our residents. In addition, you will:
Provide a wide range of personal care services and have proven clinical skills in assessments, observations, wound and continence management
Practice a duty of care, and promote personal safety and risk management
Adhere to policies and procedures regarding resident charting and documentation
We have a casual shifts available across different days of the week for people-focused AIN\’s. Be supported by a great team of AINs, RNs, Assistant Facility Manager and Facility Manager.
About you
You love working with older people and understand how important the job of an AIN really is. You genuinely care about making a difference and ideally, will possess the following:
Empathetic, tolerant and patient nature
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Thrive in a team environment, but also possess the ability to work well autonomously
Hold Australian full working rights, as well as a valid police check
Applicants with permanent residency or citizenship are highly preferred
