FBA CARE is a leading provider within the Aged Care and Disability Sector. Approved by NDIS, TAC and Work safe, we offer high-quality services to individuals and participants. We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our team. You will provide appropriate levels of support to maintain and improve our clients’ independent functioning including participation in the community, respond to the client's needs and collaborate positively with their families, support people and others in their lives. Undertake various domestic duties for the client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work respectfully with clients with varying support needs, their families, support networks and community
- Understand of and commitment to providing support and care in compliance with the NDIS code of conduct
- Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living
- Help clients move around safely, ensuring they are comfortable and reducing the risk of falls
- Administer medications ensuring the correct dosage and timing of medications is essential for residents’ health and safety
- Prepare food, arrange social activities, perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and cleaning
- Assist in personal hygiene and dressing
- Provide companionship, friendship and emotional support
- Record daily care activities, residents’ health status, and any incidents that may occur.
