Ageas Insurance is looking for a Release Automation Engineer, who will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to support scalable, secure and efficient software delivery. The Release Automation Engineer will contribute to Ageas' platform engineering approach, enabling reusable automation patterns and promoting self-service capabilities across development teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and evolve CI/CD pipelines to support cloud-native applications and hybrid environments.
- Develop and maintain automation tooling that enables self-service deployment and testing capabilities for development teams.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence by promoting experimentation, rapid prototyping, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
- Support the evolution of automation maturity by adopting modern engineering approaches and challenging conventional delivery methods.
- Monitor the health and performance of CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and pipeline design.
- Strong understanding of platform engineering principles and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Container Registry, and Azure Functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
