We're looking for a Lead Data Product Owner to drive the vision, strategy and delivery of key data.
This role is responsible for leading large, complex initiatives that unlock business value through better use of data, while ensuring delivery aligns to Ageas UK's strategic objectives.
As a senior product leader, you'll influence stakeholders across the organisation and play a key role in shaping our future operating model, with responsibility for leading and developing Product Owners as the function evolves.
- Main Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap and priorities for Broker data products.
- Lead the delivery of large-scale data initiatives and transformation programmes.
- Prioritise and manage product backlogs to maximise business value and outcomes.
- Collaborate with business, data, technology and change teams to deliver strategic objectives.
- Translate complex business needs into clear product requirements and delivery plans.
- Drive data‑led decision making through measurable objectives, insights and performance metrics.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Manage dependencies, risks and competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
- Coach, mentor and develop Product Owners and product professionals.
- Champion Agile delivery, continuous improvement and customer‑focused outcomes.
Skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Lead Product Owner, Senior Product Owner or similar role.
- Strong insurance industry experience, ideally within Broker or Distribution environments.
- Extensive experience delivering data products, platforms or data transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, high‑value programmes of work.
- Experience managing, coaching or leading Product Owners and wider product teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and product delivery best practices.
- Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent prioritisation, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into clear outcomes.
