We currently have a great opportunity for an Operational Resilience & Continuity Lead to join our team. This role will report to the Operational Resilience & Continuity Leader. As an Operational Resilience & Continuity Lead, you will play a key role in helping Ageas deliver reliable services to customers, even enduring unexpected events or disruption. You will lead the development and continuous improvement of our operational resilience, business continuity and crisis management frameworks, ensuring we can respond effectively to risks while meeting regulatory requirements. Working with colleagues across the business and senior stakeholders, you will help strengthen resilience, drive improvements and support the long‑term stability of our operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of Ageas' operational resilience framework.
  • Ensure important business services, impact tolerances and supporting processes remain effective and up to date.
  • Monitor, assess and report on resilience risks, vulnerabilities and remediation activities.
  • Design and deliver scenario testing to assess resilience and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and develop resilience policies, standards, governance and operating procedures.
  • Chair resilience forums and provide meaningful insights and updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead the business continuity and crisis management frameworks across the organisation.
  • Coordinate business continuity planning, testing and incident preparedness activities.
  • Act as the operational resilience subject‑matter expert, supporting projects, change initiatives and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience in operational resilience, business continuity and crisis management.
  • Previous experience within financial services or another regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience designing and implementing resilience frameworks, policies and governance processes.
  • Good understanding of operational resilience regulations, industry standards and best practice.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Professional qualifications or accreditation in operational resilience, risk management or business continuity would be advantageous.
