As a Junior AI Engineer, you’ll step into a rapidly growing team where you’ll help build and scale the next generation of AI-driven solutions across our business. You’ll work hands‑on with real AI products already used by hundreds of colleagues, gaining exposure to cutting‑edge tools, cloud technologies and real-world deployment. Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver end‑to‑end AI projects with support from senior engineers, from scoping and R&D to production and measuring impact.
  • Work within the Data Science & AI team to help deploy scalable, innovative AI solutions across the business.
  • Collaborate with a cross‑functional squad — DevOps, data engineers, developers, testers and Infosec — to productionise AI services in AWS.
  • Build proficiency in esure’s tech stack, including MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, UI tools and our AI Python library.
  • Develop prompts, fine-tune open-source base-models and track results.

Skills and Experience

  • Exposure to developing NLP models, including prompt engineering and fine‑tuning LLMs in a commercial or academic setting.
  • Able to complete tasks and projects with support from more experienced colleagues.
  • Some experience presenting technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient with the Python data science stack (pandas, scikit‑learn, Jupyter, etc.) and version control tools like Git.
  • Any exposure to LLMOps, model monitoring, CI/CD and related technologies (Docker, MLflow, Kubernetes, FastAPI, etc.).
