Communication & Engagement Business Partner – Enterprise Functions

Location: Eastleigh

Contract type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary Range: £48,000 – £72,000

Target Start Date: 9th August

Closing Date: 20th July

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders across HR, Risk, Technology, Data and Finance to provide strategic communication advice and support.
  • Develop and deliver communication and engagement strategies aligned to functional and business priorities.
  • Create high-quality content including leadership blogs, articles, presentations, events and thought leadership materials.
  • Translate business updates, operational changes and strategic priorities into engaging communication plans.
  • Lead the delivery of key colleague communications, including financial results, bonus, pay review and performance management updates.
  • Use colleague feedback and engagement insights to shape communication activity and support recognition programmes.
  • Support integration and transformation activity by delivering communications that help colleagues navigate change.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness and continuously improve channels, processes and colleague experience.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement or corporate communications.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong planning, organisation and project‑management skills.
  • Ability to create engaging multimedia communications across a range of channels.
  • Degree or professional qualification in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, CIPR or IoIC preferred.
