Brand Manager

Join our dynamic Marketing team at Ageas! Following our recent announcement of our partnership with Saga, we have an exciting, newly created opportunity for a Brand Manager. This pivotal role involves managing and implementing the Saga brand across all key customer touchpoints, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand experience.

As the Brand Manager, you will develop and deliver compelling stories and presentations that highlight the benefits of the brand, effectively selling its value to senior stakeholders. You will act as the primary liaison between Ageas and the Saga Brand team, fostering strong collaboration to ensure brand initiatives are strategically aligned and effectively delivered. While the primary focus will be on the Saga brand, the role will also involve working on the Ageas and Rias brands, ensuring a cohesive brand strategy across the board.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent application of the brand identity across all marketing, communications, and customer touchpoints, both internally and externally.
  • Own and manage the Saga Brand Guidelines, collaborating with the Saga Brand teams to review, update, and govern brand standards, including visual identity, tone of voice, and creative execution.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers to deliver brand assets efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Lead the management and execution of the Saga brand across digital and print channels, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Act as the custodian of the Saga brand, safeguarding its integrity and reputation, and working closely with the wider Saga Group on brand-related matters, including trademark management.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers to deliver brand assets efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Ageas and the Saga Brand team, fostering strong collaboration to ensure brand initiatives are strategically aligned and effectively delivered.

Qualifications

  • A strategic and creative thinker, capable of leading the development and governance of brand assets, including visual identity, tone of voice, and creative execution.
  • Knowledge and experience with Trademarks and aspects of brand protection.
  • Experience of tools to help evaluate performance of brand health eg. YouGov Brand Tracking.
  • Analytical experience with the ability to interpret results and drive action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly articulate and document rationale and planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management and relationship building skills, across all business functions.
