IMO Analyst : We are looking for an individual with strong Agile delivery experience who can act as a bridge between delivery teams and our change framework.

This is not a traditional PMO role; the successful candidate will have hands-on experience working within Agile environments and be highly proficient in JIRA and the wider Atlassian toolset.

You will support Value Streams and Functional Areas to structure, visualise and manage their work effectively within JIRA, helping teams move from traditional delivery approaches towards more transparent, outcome-focused ways of working.

The role will focus on enabling others, and you will work closely with stakeholders who may have little or no prior Agile experience, guiding them through the Ageas change framework, coaching them on Agile principles and best practices, and helping them translate business objectives, plans and milestones into epics, stories, tasks and delivery roadmaps within JIRA.

You should be confident providing practical support, challenging existing ways of working where appropriate, and driving consistent adoption of tooling, standards and processes across multiple teams.

This position operates on a hybrid working basis and will require travel within the UK as needed.

Travel will be predominantly to Reigate, Eastleigh and London, with occasional visits to other Ageas or esure locations.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Support the IMO in the development, maintenance, and ongoing update of integrated delivery plans, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across all integration workstreams.
  • Collaborate with integration workstream leads to drive plan updates, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and key activities are kept up to date, and providing appropriate challenge and support with resolution, where required.
  • Support the identification and tracking of cross-workstream dependencies, escalating potential conflicts, delays, or impacts to the Planning & Reporting Manager, managing these using the agreed programme tooling and processes, including the Ageas agile change framework.
  • Track delivery progress against agreed milestones and plans, highlighting slippage, variances, and emerging issues, working proactively with integration workstream leads.
  • Manage traceability from synergy benefits into strategic milestones and associated delivery plans; supporting and maintaining traceability framework and ensuring that reporting is aligned to that framework.
  • Maintain core IMO planning and reporting artefacts, including the integrated plan, milestones tracker, decision tickets, RAID log, and action trackers, with the appropriate tooling (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Support the production of regular IMO, Executive, and Board-level reporting, including status dashboards, summaries, and supporting analysis, ensuring that integration workstreams follow the agreed governance frameworks, including the Ageas agile change framework, templates, and cadence.
  • Advocate and support the adoption of new ways of working and tooling across Ageas, including working in partnership with the QBR team.
  • Ensure reporting inputs are accurate, timely, and consistent with IMO standards, templates, and governance requirements.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and insight to support IMO leadership with decision-making and issue resolution.

Skills and experience you need as IMO Analyst

  • Knowledge of JIRA or other similar workflow tools is essential.
  • Previous experience of working in a Programme Office and/or Change Team.
  • Previous experience working in a large scale, complex transformation programme with agile ways of working.
  • Knowledge of Confluence, including ability to configure and integrate with Jira content.
  • Domain knowledge and experience across the Insurance value chain.
  • Highly organised and strong attention to detail.
