Volunteer Befriender – Face to Face Visits

Face to face home visits providing conversation & company (unpaid role)

Can you imagine going through a week and not speaking to a single person? Unfortunately, this is a real-life circumstance for many people living in the Chelmsforddistrict.

If you are compassionate and able to spare 1-2 hours a week to visit a lonely and isolated person and brighten their week, please apply to become a Volunteer today.

Age Well East provides full training and a nominated Friendship Coordinator to support you throughout your volunteering journey.

Volunteers must be happy to provide 2 character references and have an enhanced DBS check (paid for and arranged by Age Well East).
