Age UK Sheffield is looking for a Personal Assistant & Governance Lead to provide essential support to our CEO and Board of Trustees.

This flexible bank role would suit someone with strong administration and minute-taking skills who enjoys coordinating meetings, managing competing priorities and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.

You'll play a key role in supporting good governance across the charity by organising trustee meetings, preparing papers, recording minutes and monitoring actions.

You'll also support the CEO with diary management and help coordinate organisational reporting, audits and quality assurance activities.

We're looking for someone who can

  • Organise and coordinate trustee and committee meetings.
  • Produce accurate and professional minutes.
  • Support the CEO with diary management and administration.
  • Coordinate organisational reports and information requests.
  • Help maintain quality and compliance records.
  • Build positive working relationships with trustees and colleagues.
  • Are you highly organised, detail-focused and confident working with senior leaders and trustees?
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong written communication and minute-taking experience.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Confidence working independently.
  • A professional and discreet approach to confidential information.
  • Experience supporting trustees, boards or committees would be an advantage.
