We're looking for an experienced and motivated Wellbeing Centre Manager to lead the delivery of vibrant, customer-focused services across our Wellbeing Centres. This role is key to creating engaging programmes that support older people to stay active, independent and connected, while ensuring the smooth, safe and effective day-to-day running of services.
The Salary range for the role £30,408 - £33,149 pro rata.
Key Responsibilities- Service & Operational Leadership
- Oversee the day-to-day delivery of wellbeing services across multiple centres
- Manage budgets, financial controls, and service performance
- Ensure strong health & safety, quality standards, and compliance are maintained
- Team Management
- Lead, motivate and support staff, volunteers and students
- Deliver supervision, appraisals, recruitment and development
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high‑performing team culture
- Customer & Programme Development
- Develop and deliver a varied wellbeing programme for a diverse customer base
- Assess customer needs and design personalised support plans
- Promote independence, dignity and improved quality of life
- Partnerships & Business Development
- Build relationships with partners, stakeholders and community organisations
- Promote the service and drive referrals
- Contribute to strategy, growth and sustainability of the centres
- Proven management experience in a health, social care or community setting
- Experience supervising staff and volunteers and leading teams effectively
- Strong operational skills including budgeting, compliance and service delivery
