Overview
Age UK's Individual Marketing team is looking for a Loyalty Marketing Manager, Lotteries & Raffle to manage the Lottery and Raffle Loyalty programme. You will be responsible for retaining players, maximising entries per player and growing repeat/long-term playing through delivering excellent supporter experiences and deepening relationships with our charity audiences. A solid foundation in Direct Marketing across offline and online channels is required.
We operate a hybrid-working model, blending home and office working. This role will include regular days in the London office — currently once a week on a Thursday — and may involve occasional travel (including some overnight stays). Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder.
Please note this is a Fixed Term contract (12 months maternity cover). Ideally, the successful candidate will join as soon as possible (within ~4 weeks).
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a solid foundation of experience within the Direct Marketing discipline across offline and online channels.
- Manage large, complex direct marketing budgets and campaigns.
- Forecasting, budget-setting and strategic decision making to drive financial performance.
- Analyse and report on the performance of online and offline Direct Marketing campaigns.
Qualifications and skills
- Understanding of stewardship programmes and what drives supporter loyalty.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to critically assess concepts and copy.
- Experience using databases for reporting and data strategies to drive direct response success.
- Excellent project management skills.

- Ability to work on own initiative and be self-starting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proactive problem solving in complex stakeholder environments.
Desirable experience
- Experience in marketing Lotteries and Raffles and/or subscription marketing.
- Experience of line management and performance management.
- Knowledge of Fundraising and the role of Individual Giving.
- Empathy and understanding for issues faced by older people.
