We are recruiting a reliable and organised Casual Reception Administrator & Retail Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the first point of contact for our organisation, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in office tasks, and have a strong attention to detail.
  • You will also oversee the running of a small charity shop within the area, supporting your colleagues and volunteers.

Customer Service:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers and visitors
  • Confident handling enquiries, complaints, and requests

Communication:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident answering telephone calls and responding to emails

Reception & Administration:

  • Welcoming visitors and managing reception duties
  • Scheduling appointments and managing diaries (if required)

Retail Skills:

  • Cash handling and operating till systems
  • Merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays
  • Stock replenishment and inventory management
  • Promote Gift Aid where appropriate
