Age UK Bromley & Greenwich is looking for a confident and compassionate Information & Advice Triage Worker to be the first point of contact for older people, carers, and their families. You will provide high-quality initial information and guidance, mainly by telephone, helping people understand their options and feel supported from the first conversation.
Using structured triage, you will assess needs, urgency, and risk, manage expectations sensitively, and ensure people are directed quickly and appropriately to advice services, internal teams, or partner organisations. You will play a vital role in identifying safeguarding concerns, making timely referrals, and ensuring accurate records are maintained on our CRM system.
This role is well suited to someone calm under pressure, with strong listening and communication skills, who is confident handling sensitive or complex enquiries. You will need a person-centred approach, good judgement, and the ability to work within clear procedures while helping people feel heard and supported.
