Age UK Tunbridge Wells is seeking caring and reliable individuals to join our Independent Living and Dementia Support Team.

This rewarding role supports older clients to remain independent, safe, and comfortable in their own homes.

About the Role

You will provide practical and social support to older people, including those living with cognitive decline, helping them to maintain independence and wellbeing.

This is a community-based role offering flexibility and meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing light domestic support
  • Accompanying clients on shopping trips
  • Supporting clients to attend medical appointments (GP or hospital)
  • Assisting clients to keep household correspondence and paperwork up to date
  • Offering social interaction, companionship, and emotional support
  • Delivering 1-to-1 support for clients living with cognitive decline through enjoyable and stimulating activities

Please note: This role does not involve personal care or meal preparation.
