We are looking for a caring, reliable support worker to provide assistance to a female adult with physical disabilities in her own home. The ideal candidate will need to be available to support with household chores, meal preparation for lunch and dinner times from 1pm till 6pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays along with personal care as and when required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support with the running of the home including daily household chores such as cleaning and laundry.
- Meal preparation and cooking for the individual and her family at lunch and dinner time.
- Run errands as and when required.
- Develop a positive supportive relationship with the individual and family.
Requirements:
- Car driver and full driving licence.
- Able to work in an environment with animals as there are 2 family cats.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to prepare and cook healthy meal options.
- DBS check required, paid by employer.
- References required.
Desirable:
- Experience in care and domiciliary services.
