We are looking for a caring and reliable female support worker to provide one-to-one support for a 6-year-old girl with autism who is nonverbal.

Location: B91

Hours: 3 hours a week flexible. After school pick up possible 2 days per week or evening support.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

About the Role: This role involves providing safe, engaging and supportive care, offering respite for the family while supporting the child's needs and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting from school if required and ensuring safe transition home
  • Providing supervision and engaging in appropriate play and activities
  • Supervision and support with toileting needs
  • Ensuring a safe, calm, supportive environment

Essential:

  • Friendly, patient and reliable
  • Comfortable with supporting a non-verbal child with autism
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Non-smokers

Desirable:

  • Experience with children with additional needs but not essential
  • Full driving licence
