Charity Shop Assistant

The role is for 16 hours per week including weekend working.

As a Shop Assistant within our Home and Furniture store, you will play a vital role in our retail operations. This is an exciting and dynamic environment where each day brings new challenges and teamwork is essential. We are in search of a skilled and adaptable Shop Assistant to join our Milton Keynes Home & Furniture store. We want someone who is innovative, diligent, and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience, whilst truly embodying the values of Age UK Milton Keynes.

· Experience within a retail or service environment.

· Flexibility to work weekends and in line with store opening hours and operating needs.

· Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with a diverse team.

· Resilience and an energetic approach to work, our Home & Furniture store does get busy, and the role can be physically & mentally demanding particularly when dealing with large numbers of customers, donations, and deliveries.

· You\’ll be comfortable with tech, able to use a Till, PC, Smartphone and e-mail with ease.

· Results oriented and proud to contribute to the team by achieving store targets and objectives

· Professional, but also authentic and passionate about what you do

· Please note, this role can be physically demanding and will involve lifting large pieces of furniture.
