Salary: £27,664 full time equivalent.

Hours: 28 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days, including Thursday and Friday).

As a Support At Home Coordinator for East Lancashire you’ll be at the heart of our service, bringing together people, schedules, and support to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage staff rotas to ensure reliable, efficient service delivery.
  • Match Support At Home Workers to service users based on needs, preferences, and location.
  • Act as the main point of contact for staff, service users, and families.
  • Support, motivate, and guide a team of Support At Home Workers.
  • Monitor service quality and ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Respond to changes, escalations, or concerns in a timely and compassionate way.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support service user wellbeing.
  • Manage continuous development of the service in your area and maintain service standards, ensuring quality and long-term sustainability.

Working in a varied and fast‑paced environment, you will use your robust decision‑making skills whilst maintaining a strong understanding and empathy for the issues affecting older people.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in coordinating or managing staff or services.
  • Understanding of the needs of older or vulnerable people.
