Volunteer Delivery Drivers Needed – Make a Real Difference in Your Community
We are currently looking for three volunteer delivery drivers to support our hot meal delivery service on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. We provide full training and ongoing support, and you’ll be able to claim reasonable expenses, including mileage at 45p per mile.
As a volunteer driver, you’ll be a friendly and professional representative of the Lewes House of Friendship. We’re seeking people who are sociable, reliable, honest, empathetic, and who enjoy meeting new people. Ensuring meals are delivered promptly is key so that every member receives a hot, nourishing meal.
Requirements:
- A full driving licence
- Your own vehicle
- An interest in supporting people in later life
- Participants must be over 18 years of age.
