About Us
Age UK Ealing’s mission is to promote the wellbeing of all older people in Ealing and empower them to achieve full quality of life. We provide a range of support services for older people in the London Borough of Ealing including Information and Advice, Well Being Day Centre, Befriending, Digital Inclusion and Community Gardening Services. We also run the Greenford Community Centre, where our office and services are based alongside a range of other community activities.
Job Description
Age UK Ealing is looking to recruit a new Community Gardener. This service involves carrying out gardening duties for older people in the London Borough of Ealing. Reporting to the Service Coordinator, the Community Gardener’s duties will include:
- lawn cutting
- strimming
- leaf clearance
- hedge cutting
- watering
- weeding
- planting
- jet washing
Age UK Ealing has highly motivated staff and volunteers with a passion for supporting older people through our services and has an experienced and diverse board of trustees. We are seeking someone who is passionate about gardening, confident, and with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will possess a full and clean UK Drivers Licence and be able to drive a medium size van/vehicle.
