Relief Assistant Organisers required for Fenland Day Centres (March PE15 & Wisbech PE13). Age UK Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is an independent charitable organisation which exists to improve the quality of life for older people in the county. Our Day Centres are social facilities providing a day care service for older people in and around March & Wisbech, which can often offer vital respite for carers. The service aims to provide a stimulating environment and a varied programme of activities for older people.
The Relief Assistant Organiser provides cover on an as and when needed basis to cover staff absence and works with the Organiser and volunteers to engage with service users to deliver a variety of activities, including social interaction, cognitive stimulation, physical activity and entertainment. Refreshments are provided at all centres with a hot meal included for our service users at some centres.
Key Details
- Hours: Zero hours contract, working on an as and when needed basis.
- Day Centre operating days: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday in March and Monday, Wednesday & Friday in Wisbech.
- Location: Day Centres in both PE15 and PE13.
- Salary: £12:21 per hour for any hours worked + benefits.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake Disclosure and Barring Service check at an ENHANCED level.
