AAK BD Foods joined AAK International in 2019 as part of the Global Foodservice Group. Now AAK BD Foods, the site is a producer of tailor‑made restaurant quality meal accompaniments and boasts a portfolio of over 3,000 products. With its purpose‑built manufacturing site based in St Leonards on Sea, the Company produces solution‑based chilled, ambient, and frozen products in a variety of pack formats for the food service sector.

AAK BD Foods are seeking a Customer Service Assistant, an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills. You will receive full training in all relevant areas and will provide support and assistance on a variety of administrative tasks within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage customer service inboxes.
  • Process new orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Upload transport data into the system.
  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct checks on orders and transportation details to ensure they are correct.
  • Check deliveries have been made as required and upload invoices to the relevant platform.
  • Provide reception duties as required i.e. Phone and door.
  • Coordinate and liaise internally and externally with Transport & Planning teams.
