AssistantShopManager,Coleraine(14hours Friday & Saturday) The successful applicant willbe requiredto work2days per week Friday and Saturday Themain purpose of theroleis toassisttheShop Managertocreate a welcoming atmosphere in our shop andensure that each customer has a positiveshopping experience. Reporting to theShop Manager, the main responsibilities of this roleareto: greet customersandassistthem where necessary accept, sort, price,storeand display merchandise/donations ensure a high standard of presentation, display and pricing be responsible forprocessing payments and ensuring Gift Aid donations are recorded accurately promote Gift Aid to customers andsign-updonors to enhance shop income be responsible foropening and closing ofthe shopduring trading hours superviseVolunteers andSales Assistants ensurethe storeis kept clean andtidy attendappropriate training, asrequired any other duties that may be required by the Shop Manager. Applicants must have: Experience of cash handling Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent customer service and organisational skills Excellent communication skills both written and oral Flexibility,integrityand an understanding of confidentiality It isdesirablethat the post-holderhasexperiencewithin the retail sector. It is alsodesirablethat the post-holder has supervisory experience.
