Location: The Frances Suite, 151 Dale St Liverpool. It is anticipated that this role will involve a mix of remote working alongside some attendance at our office and sites. You must have the right to work in the UK. We cannot provide sponsorship.

Job Description: We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Officer to help secure vital funding that supports older people across Liverpool and Sefton. If you’re a strong writer, confident communicator, and great at spotting opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and secure funding from Trusts, Foundations, Corporations and Statutory Bodies
- Write clear, compelling funding applications and proposals
- Manage relationships with new and existing funders
- Work with service teams to develop evidence-based business cases
- Attend supporter events and represent the charity professionally
- Maintain accurate fundraising records and produce reports
- Support budget development and ensure funding compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence speaking to potential funders
- Ability to research, organise, and manage multiple funding opportunities
- Experience in fundraising, bid writing, or business development is an advantage
- Make a real impact on the lives of older people in our community
- Hybrid working available
