The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

Hours: 35 hours (full time) 2-year fixed term contract

Location: The Frances Suite, 151 Dale St Liverpool. It is anticipated that this role will involve a mix of remote working alongside some attendance at our office and sites. You must have the right to work in the UK. We cannot provide sponsorship.

Job Description: We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Officer to help secure vital funding that supports older people across Liverpool and Sefton. If you’re a strong writer, confident communicator, and great at spotting opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and secure funding from Trusts, Foundations, Corporations and Statutory Bodies
  • Write clear, compelling funding applications and proposals
  • Manage relationships with new and existing funders
  • Work with service teams to develop evidence-based business cases
  • Attend supporter events and represent the charity professionally
  • Maintain accurate fundraising records and produce reports
  • Support budget development and ensure funding compliance
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence speaking to potential funders
  • Ability to research, organise, and manage multiple funding opportunities
  • Experience in fundraising, bid writing, or business development is an advantage
